Conduct

Please remember that we are here to assist families in need of food. We are volunteers giving of our time and talent to serve the community. By following the code of conduct, you will be helping us to create a better environment for everyone

Code of Conduct
  • Treat everyone with the respect, kindness, and compassion.

  • Treat staff & volunteers with respect & honesty.

  • Remember that it is against the law to sell, exchange, or abuse any items you receive.

  • Cooperate with volunteers and staff.

  • No loitering. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before opening hours, and leave through the assigned doors as soon as you have received your food.

The following is a list of behaviors that will not be tolerated:

​

  • Physically or verbally harming or abusing others

  • Using profanity

  • Using intimidation tactics and/or making threats

  • Publicly disclosing another’s private information

  • Attending under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs

  • Sexual or unwelcome harassment

  • Possession of dangerous or unauthorized material such as explosives or firearms

 

Participants should realize that access to services may have limits and eligibility does not automatically ensure services. Individuals may be refused service if the Code of Conduct is not followed!
